WASHINGTON, D.C.—The Security Institute has announced the 3rd Annual Government Security Market: Opportunities and Challenges seminar will be held on April 24-25, 2006 in Washington, D.C., prior to the Government Security Expo & Conference, GovSec. The seminar will focus on understanding, reaching and selling security products and services to the federal market, including discussion regarding contracting vehicles and specific sales opportunities. In addition, the program provides important information regarding contracting, reporting and liability issues including a session led by an authority on The SAFEY Act—an act that offers security product and service companies a limit to their liability in the case of terrorist activity.
Ricci Communications has been retained to coordinate the meeting and develop the marketing materials, as well as to promote the program to an international audience. Ricci Communications was selected for its significant experience creating similar programs for other industry associations, including the Security Industry Association (SIA) Corporate Security Roundtable and other programs that have addressed contract security business development, licensing and financial management.
Hundreds of security companies are trying to sell the federal government thousands of products and services. There are billions of dollars being spent; but the market is often confusing and difficult to navigate. The Security Institute’s 3rd Annual Government Security Market: Opportunities and Challenges offers insight from companies that have successfully broken the code and from government insiders who can help you discover the hidden opportunities.
During the past three years, nearly 300 senior management executives have actively participated in this event and many have successfully pursued and captured important government contracts.
