ALEXANDRIA, VA - Ricci Communications recently completed and launched a new Web site, www.lowersrisk.com, for Lowers & Associates (L&A), an international risk management and security authority serving the financial services industry, located in Purcellville, VA.
Ricci Communications presented L&A with a total solution by providing initial consulting, copywriting for over 40 pages, site design and programming for the Web siteís completion. This new site greatly improves upon the previous site's utility for L&A's clients, it allows L&A to make updates to the site and it renders significant information regarding both L&A's services and industries.
The siteís features include two login areas; one where clients can access information pertinent to their individual accounts and one where bank couriers can obtain information about and apply for courier certification. In addition to the increased functionality, the new site now highlights the full range of services provided by L&A. It allows users to navigate easily from the industry they represent to the applicable services provided by L&A, and vice versa.
L&A also benefits internally from an extremely robust content management system (CMS) tool. With this tool, L&A can consistently update its Web site to highlight topical information for site visitors. It also allows L&A to update the site and create and delete pages easily to accommodate the dynamic interests and needs of the industries L&A serves.
The end to end process began with identifying the needs of the new Web site. From there, Ricci Communications created the site navigation based on those needs, it developed a new look and feel for the site that would be in tune with the company's pre-existing brand, it crafted over 40 pages of content, it created the CMS tool and it programmed the site for its final launch.
The L&A Web site design uses lines and borders that mimic the contours of the corporate font used for the logo. Additionally, imagery also plays a particularly important role in assisting the user to navigate throughout the Web site.

Ricci Communications initially competed against several other companies providing a response to Lowers & Associates' Request for Proposal for its Web site redesign and launch.
