ALEXANDRIA, VA – Only three weeks into its National Conference on Volunteering and Service Conference integrated promotional campaign, the Points of Light Foundation, with the assistance of Ricci Communications, has seen significant increases in registrations and awareness, resulting in thousands of additional registrations and cost-savings from minimizing postage expense.
The Points of Light Foundation, which engages and mobilizes millions of volunteers who help to solve serious social problems in thousands of communities, contracted with Ricci Communications to create a direct mail registration brochure and email campaign to promote its annual conference.
Selected because of its combination of strategic and tactical association expertise, Ricci Communications developed concepts, copy and designs that reflected the look and feel of the direct mail into the electronic media, as well as researching and obtaining targeted lists and managing the distribution of the electronic messaging to maximize impact.
Cost efficiencies were created through the use of an electronic template that could be modified for each distribution. In addition, Ricci Communications provided direction and support to measure and evaluate the performance of the integrated campaign.
Ricci Communications also provided electronic marketing support for the Points of Light Foundation’s 2005 Conference and is continuing to work with them to support this and other campaigns.
