Alexandria, Va. – The National Association of Security Companies (NASCO), the nation’s largest trade association for contract security which represents companies that employs more than 400,000 security officers, released its first issue of Security Executive in late July 2006. The publication, as well as the corresponding media kit and Web site, was conceptualized and designed by Ricci Communications, which was selected based on its strong design portfolio and extensive experience in the security industry.
“We wanted to create a professional piece that would present the content in an organized, yet eye-catching manner,” says Ricci Communications Art Director, Jacki Silvan. “By incorporating bold images with a visually engaging design we were able to draw readers in while still appealing to industry leaders.”
NASCO is publishing Security Executive as an accessible reference of current issues and news relevant to the security industry. Features include a comprehensive update of legislation affecting the organization’s members, as well as upcoming NASCO and industry events. The publication’s Web site, http://www.securityexecutive.org, will host materials from the current issue, an archive of past issues and information for subscribers and advertisers.
